As a result, Wallis probes competing meanings of fear, hope, control, pain, relief and uncertainty which stem from corporeal and emotional experiences. Photography acts as her visual language to communicate and control uncertainty, arousing thoughts on what it means to be human. To date her images are concerned with construction but based on reality yet fictional to the extent they exaggerate reality by instilling multiple meanings.
